Meet the Team

Louise is the owner of Lighthouse Yarns in Whitehead, where her passion for yarn, creativity, and community is at the heart of everything that she does. She has created a space where knitters, crocheters, felters, weavers, crafters of all types and abilities can come together to find inspiration, advice, and beautiful yarns and materials. 

Sophie is the newest addition to the team at Lighthouse Yarns, where she enjoys helping customers find the perfect yarn and inspiration for their next project. You'll usually find her organising and re-arranging the shop displays, staring longingly at the wool, or sitting outside the shop spinning wool on her wheel.
